Marcos Eduardo Sedra Gugliotti

Chemical Engineer graduated from the Faculdade de Engenharia Industrial [School of Industrial Engineering] (1995), with a Master’s degree (1997), Doctorate degree (2001) and Postdoctoral degree (2004) in Physical-Chemistry of Surfaces, and Postdoctoral degree (2010) in Physics and Materials Science, all at the Universidade de São Paulo.

He is an inventor and patent holder, and author of scientific publications in the areas of Chemistry, Physics and Biochemistry, as well as texts published in newspapers and magazines with a selective editorial policy. He has more than 20 years of experience in the research and development area, working from the elaboration, execution and coordination of research projects to technical support for other strategic areas. He was awarded 3rd place in the Technology category of the Von Martius Environmental Award (2006) for the development of a water evaporation reducer for dams and 2nd place in the International Young Chemistry Writer of the Year – Competition 2000 for the article Surface Tension in the Lungs.

HHe has solid experience in the field of patents, in activities involving technological intelligence, search/analysis/writing, response to technical opinions, preparation of subsidies for technical examination, nullity requests, and reports of analysis of infringement and freedom of commercialization, also acting as Technical Assistant in several Lawsuits.
