Karina Carmona

Graduated in Law with Summa Cumme Laude, from the Universidad Anáhuac, SC, in Mexico City (1995), with a postgraduate degree in Industrial and Intellectual Property Law, from the Universidad Panamericana, in Mexico City (1998) and, Master from Franklin Pierce Law Center LLM, in the United States (2000).

Before starting as a manager in the area of trademarks abroad in the firm in 2006, she worked as a senior lawyer in the litigation area of intellectual property in BASHAM, RINGE & CORREA, SC, in Mexico and, in the firm FROSS, ZELNICK, LEHRMAN & ZISSU, in the United States in 2010.

In 2021, she became Of Counsel in the firm, and her work covers all aspects of intellectual property, with special emphasis on the area of trademarks and domain names, being responsible for managing portfolios of national and foreign clients, acting also in several judicial and extrajudicial cases abroad.

Visiting Professor by ASPI and by the Escola Superior da Advocacia – ESA/SP Núcleo Guarujá. Member of INTA, AIPPI, AMPPI, ASIPI and ABPI associations. Chaired the ASIPI-EDUCA Committee of ASIPI (2020-2022).
