Ana Paula de Aguiar Tempesta

Partner, lawyer and responsible for the litigation department, where she has worked since 2001.

Graduated in Law from Universidade São Francisco [São Francisco University] – USF/Bragança Paulista (1998), specialist in Civil Procedural Law from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica [Pontifical Catholic University] – PUC/SP (2003), mediator at the Chamber of Mediation of the ABPI (CMed-ABPI) and expert of the Chamber for the Resolution of Disputes Relating to Domain Names (CASD-ND) linked to the ABPI Intellectual Property Dispute Resolution, Mediation and Arbitration Center (CSD/ABPI).

Since 1999, she has been working in the area of intellectual property, in the advisory and litigation fields, advising national and international clients on matters involving trademarks, patents, industrial designs, software, domain names, copyright, digital law, trade dress and unfair competition. Professor at the Professional Training Course in Industrial Property Basic Level at ABAPI (2007, 2010 to 2020), Intermediate Course on Trademarks at ABAPI (2010 and 2019) and at the Civil Procedure Course in Intellectual Property at ASPI (2011).

She is a member of important associations and commissions such as ABPI, AIPPI, AASP, OAB/SP, Special Commission on Intellectual Property of OAB/SP (triennium 2019/2021), Intellectual Property Commission of OAB/SP Guarujá Subsection (Triennium 2022/2024) and Intellectual Property Commission of the OAB/SP Santos Subsection (Triennium 2022/2024).
